For spring break this year we rented a log cabin just outside the smokey mountains. It was a pretty steep drive to get to the cabin, but the elevation made the views from the back patio all the better. We spent the week enjoying some down time as a family, exploring the smokey mountain national park, which included a hike to Laurel falls and picnicking with the Moseley's at Chimney's Picnic area. We also enjoyed downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Dixie Stampede and other activities. The boys picked out some new knives at Smokey Mountain Knifeworks and enjoyed new Oakley sunglasses as gifts from Mom & Dad. While on vacation we visited a pretty cool church called Pathway's
http://www.pathwayschurch.cc/ which made us feel right at home. During the week we celebrated Leesa's 41st birthday, Connor's 13th birthday and Tayor's 16th birthday! As life seems to get more busy, the opportunity to slow down and spend time with each other as a family has become more and more special. I am so grateful for a family that enjoys spending time together...living, loving, forgiving, learning and enjoying the gift that God has given to each of us in each other.
